needed a budget car for 4 days while ours was in the garage. Hired a 12 year old auto honda jazz. Car was in well used condition, we were told it would run well, it did, fuel tank full to very top, car return quick and easy. Deposit return instant. Exactly what we needed. Thank you.
I highly recommend South wight rentals for their excellent service. Hiring the car was made simple and straight forward with the friendly guidance and help of John. Who also made sure I was happy with the car before I took it away and reassuring that if I had any problems all I had to do was phone him. I will definitely be using them again.

Would not recommend this company. Within an hour of taking the vehicle, it had to be returned because there was not enough brake fluid in the system and the warning light was on. On the 3rd day a tyre had to be replaced - not repaired, but replaced as the side wall had damage which meant by law National Tyres had to replace it. Never again !!
Hired a van from here yesterday (Sandown site adjacent to Morrisons and Merrie Gardens pub) at short notice. The owner, John, was very professional and polite, van was perfect for what I needed. No issue at collection or return of vehicle, service was first class, everything explained as it should be. No idea why the two previous reviewers rated 1 star, certainly their reviews are nothing like the great service I received. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend South Wight Rentals and will be encouraging our hotel guests to hire cars from here in future.
