Comfortable hotel in great cliff top location with stunning sea views. Good quality food served at dinner and breakfast, although dessert menu could have been a little more inventive. Staff friendly, courteous and professional.
Fantastic views from our room and a good value deal out of season. Close to walks and pretty village. Great breakfast (except for tinned mushrooms) with plenty of choice. Nice small pool.
First stay at this hotel for a new year break and loved it from the moment we opened the front door till the moment we closed it on our way home. Every member of staff was wonderful so helpful and nothing was to much trouble. The staff behind the scenes kitchen, housekeeping, all did a wonderful job, the food was excellent. The entertainment wasn't quite our taste, but didn't spoil our break in anyway. Would definitely visit again
(2015) Me and my family stayed once, the room we stayed in was poor but the service was great and the food, Brilliant. There was friendly staff and enough room for a party of at least 10+ people (not by rooms) (2016) Me and a lesser few of my family stayed in this hotel and we could see the improvements as soon as we walked in, the rooms were as bigger and more luxurious as before. And just by looking at photos taken in 2017/18 I can see that the business has vastly improved and I hope to come again -Oliver S
What a wonderful break we had here, hotel is clean, spacious and in a beautiful location. Claire the General Manager was friendly and approachable. Reception staff most helpful and the bar and restaurant staff were amazing with nothing to much trouble. The food was excellent and great value for money. I would definitely return the this hotel and the beautiful Isle of Wight
