Best fish and chips I've had for years - top notch
The Happy Haddock Serves The Best Fish & Chips On The Isle Of Wight However Is Often Gets Busy.
Visited about six months ago and takeaway food was good but tonight, ordered cod roe (you only get one here and it costs 1.50 - other F&C shops sell two!) mushy peas but they no peas at all. Also ordered Rock and chips. When we got home, chips were cold and soggy tasting of fat which stuck to roof of mouth and Rock was not the best I have ever had. Complete waste of 8.30. Will not be returning
Wonderful fish and chips. Great batter, nice white premium cod, pity large cod sold out, and would recommend the Irish curry sauce. We had a take away and chomped it by the sea. Yum yum. Will be back.
Great place! I was literally lost for words! I have never seen staff being so busy, yet so efficient, extremely polite and with huge smile all the time. It's one of those places where you know the food will be delicious and you don't mind waiting. Cos it's worth it. Plus the wait to be honest it's not that long. They have offers for seniors and kids menu. They have the best curry sauce I've ever tasted. Huge portions, good prices and fantastic team. Highly recommended!
