A must to eat if you are on the Island, beautiful food, excellent atmosphere at a cost that won't leave you needing a mortgage, I would honestly take the ferry over and back just for a meal there if I lived a little closer to the Portsmouth!
Brilliant restaurant with a first class menu (including vegetarian) and a comprehensive drinks list. The staff are very attentive whilst not being intrusive. A pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. Check out their website for menus.

Very good food, great service from the guys, in a lovely setting in Shanklin Old Village. Open on Sundays which many of the others in the area aren't! They have many gluten free options, though the crumble topping is not quite there yet.... feels very classy but not pretentious!
This restaurant is a little gem! Both Service and food are extremely good. It's very popular so would recommend booking as we saw a few people turned away or asked to come back later. If only this restaurant was across the Solent we would be eating there all the time!Good value for money with an interesting wine list.
