Really nice hotel people and food excellent room clean and comfortable
Staff excellent go above & beyond for you. Overall place needs a makeover. Bedrooms need doing up but the scenery is excellent.food portions are big again staff very friendly & will do anything for you definetly come back
Pleasent staff but the place desperately needed decorating. The room was clean but just had an old fashioned plastic shower on the taps. The food was very average. No atmosphere in the bar though the entertainment was good. However i probably wouldnt stay here again.
The only good thing was the soft bed sheets. The rest was horrendous. I have no idea who made them "4 star" but they need to lose their job. First walked in, smelled of cannabis and it went downhill from there.I wish I took more pictures of the bathroom but the whole of the bath/shower tiles were thick with BLACK mould. The ancient hairdryer (in photo) was last electrical pass in 2011. The plug for the radiator (in photo) was hanging of the wall, water could easily get into it and be dangerous. Carpets have clearly been there since 1980's, ripped, stained and floor boards sticking up through it. Tv was broken and was just leaning against the wall. All of the deco was dated, walls are paper thin. That place needs to be renovated desperately!!
Finally found a hotel that's comfortable, friendly and good-value! Poached eggs are delicious, rooms/hotel clean and staff all ready to help. Added to that dogs are actually welcome, not just tolerated. Had a brilliant trip - thanks to Darren, Paddy and Tracy!
