Very good hotel with good facilities. Well appointed bedrooms and public areas. Staff friendly and helpful. Food above average. Entertainment good only problem is location for people with walking difficulties. No bustop close by but it was worth the 3.20 taxi fare from the bus station.
Think Faulty Towers. The daytime reception staff were great. Sadly let down by a stroppy bar staff woman who attempted to lecture me regarding how to get a room key after the reception closed (despite me pointing out another member of hotel staff told me to wait at reception. She clearly felt the need to try and belittle me.. unsuccessfully). Room was spacious and bed was comfy. Breakfast was a farce. Only a couple of staff members dealing with coach loads of oldies. We could have waited until lunchtime before getting their attention but hunted down the manager instead. Eventually served mouldy bread as toast. The orange juice ran out and we had to find our own allocated table as nobody was manning the entrance. The waitress forgot half our order so we should have come down late as there were 4 members of staff flitting around 1 table! Pool was ok although sauna was cooler than the jacuzzi and the changing room was totally inadequate with a toilet that was out of use to boot. Definitely a feel of that 70s sitcom.
Great place to stay. Clean. Good choice of food. Friendly staff. We were well looked after. But no real ale on draught and entertainment slightly limited. That said, our stay was at the end of the season and we would be more than happy to stay here again.
Had a great nights sleep. Plenty of hot water in a morning, food hot and freshly done. Swimming pool is a bonus. Entertainment is good and enjoyable
I was very impressed with the location and the hotel. The food was good and the staff are most welcoming. I would come back here to this beautiful island.
